The analysis layer beside your CRM: the QoE, the valuation, the DSCR and the memo.

Deal CRMs built for committed funds do relationships, sourcing and workflow superbly, at $10,000 to $50,000 a year and up, and none that we have found carries a Quality of Earnings workbench, a DSCR model or a valuation engine. Acquiror AI starts at the point where the CRM hands you the CIM.

Where the CRM wins

Relationship intelligence across thousands of contacts, email and calendar sync, sourcing databases, fund-level reporting, integrations with the rest of an institutional stack.

The CRM is the better choice, and Acquiror AI is not a substitute for it, when the work is any of these:

  • Coverage of a thousand relationships. A fund with a sourcing team and bankers and brokers to cover needs a CRM built for it. Acquiror AI's contacts are there to run a deal, not to cover a market.
  • Integration with the rest of the stack. Acquiror AI has no public API on any plan, so it does not feed a fund's other systems.
  • Fund-level reporting. Acquiror AI's analytics count active deals, total estimated value, EBITDA under evaluation and the funnel by stage. It does not model fund-level returns; its returns analysis is per deal.
  • Sharing with investors. Every member of a workspace sees every deal in it, so Acquiror AI is not an investor, client or co-investor portal. Keep your virtual data room for watermarking and per-viewer permissions.

Which one fits

A fund with a sourcing team and a thousand relationships needs a CRM, and runs Acquiror AI beside it as the analysis layer between the data room and the memo. Keep your sourcing database for finding targets and your virtual data room for watermarking and per-viewer permissions; bring the CIM here for the QoE, the valuation, the financing and the memo. If you are a sponsor, a search fund or a small firm whose pipeline fits in a nine-stage board, Acquiror AI's pipeline is enough and the analysis is what you were missing.

That pipeline runs from Sourced through Initial Screen, NDA Signed, CIM Received, Deep Due Diligence, Letter of Intent and Purchase Agreement to Closed Won or Closed Lost, with the stage history, a default win probability per stage, days in stage and a stalled badge on every card. Contacts cover seller representatives, brokers, advisors and lenders, with a timeline of calls, meetings, emails and notes and a rating on each, so the broker who always delivers the CIM late is on record.

How they work together

Side by side, with the CIM as the hand-off. The CRM keeps the relationship, the sourcing and the fund's view of the pipeline. When a target sends its CIM, open the deal in Acquiror AI and upload the CIM and the statements: extraction reads revenue and EBITDA by year with a confidence score on each figure, and the Quality of Earnings (QoE), the valuation and the financing are built from there, in that order.

There is no sync between the two: Acquiror AI has no public API on any plan. What comes back to the CRM's record is a file. The Decision Export writes the decision chain, Go, No-Go, Conditional Go or Parked with its confidence and rationale, to PDF, Excel or JSON; the investment memo and the credit memo export to PDF.

On Firm and Enterprise, an MCP server connects Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Cursor to the deal record, so the assistant your team already uses reads the same figures the memo prints. No MCP tool creates or edits a deal record.

Questions

Does Acquiror AI replace a pipeline CRM?

For a sponsor whose pipeline fits on a nine-stage board, with contacts, a timeline and tasks, yes. For a fund with a sourcing team, a thousand relationships, email and calendar sync and fund-level reporting, no: keep the CRM for the relationship and bring the CIM to Acquiror AI for the Quality of Earnings, the valuation, the financing and the memo.

Does it sync with my CRM?

No. There is no public API on any plan. The two run side by side, and the Decision Export's PDF, Excel or JSON file carries the decision back to the CRM's record.

Can investors or co-investors see a deal?

Only as members of your workspace, and every member sees every deal in it. Acquiror AI is not an investor or co-investor portal; send the investment memo, and keep your data room for per-viewer permissions.

Does it record why we passed on a deal?

Yes. Every decision is Go, No-Go, Conditional Go or Parked, with a confidence level, a rationale, the stage, the author and a timestamp. Nothing is edited after the fact; the chain is the audit trail.
