A Quality of Earnings on every deal you screen, with the valuation, the financing and the memo built on it.

Per-deal AI Quality of Earnings services charge $2,000 to $5,000 a report, some CPA-signed. They are good value if you will look at one business. If you screen a pipeline, you pay per deal forever. One Acquiror AI subscription covers every deal within its plan's limit.

The earnings bridge for a locked FY2025 period on a demonstration deal: reported EBITDA plus non-recurring and owner-related add-backs gives normalized EBITDA, beside the same bridge for SDE.
A demonstration deal. Figures as the product shows them.
  1. Add-backs by category, each with its evidence
  2. Locked: read-only until a reviewer unlocks it
  3. This EBITDA is the one valuation and financing read

Where the per-deal report wins

A CPA signature on the report, if that is what your lender requires. Zero software to learn. One business, one time.

The report is the better choice in these cases:

  • Your lender names a CPA-signed report. Buy the one your lender names. The workbench's output is your own Quality of Earnings with its evidence, never a CPA-signed report.
  • You will buy one business in your life. If your whole software budget is under $200 a month and there is one deal in it, a per-deal report serves you better than a subscription.
  • You want the work done for you. A report is delivered. The workbench is where you build the bridge yourself, one adjustment at a time.

Which one fits

A year of Firm is $14,388 on the annual commitment, roughly three CPA-signed per-deal reports, and it covers every deal the team touches. A year of Solo is $1,668, less than one DIY report. The break-even is one deal a year on Solo and three on Firm.

One class of deal is different. Since 1 October 2026, on an SBA 7(a) acquisition at a Business Purchase Price of $3 million or more, which excludes any owner-occupied real estate, SOP 50 10 8.1 requires the lender to obtain its own Quality of Earnings, with a cash proof, prepared for the lender and not by or for the seller, and to use its earnings in the coverage test. On those deals the lender's engagement is required, and neither a report you buy nor the workbench replaces it. The workbench is the preparation and the check: build the bridge the lender's report will test, lock it, and walk in knowing what it will find. Below that price the SBA mandates no report, and the arithmetic above decides it.

How they work together

Screen with the workbench, and buy the report on the deal that survives. Rebuild the earnings on each target you are weighing, then commission the outside Quality of Earnings (QoE) on the one you mean to close, and arrive with your own bridge already built and locked.

When the report arrives, its findings come in as evidence. Enter the periods and the adjustments it found, attach the workpapers to the adjustments, and lock the period. The locked figure is the one Valuation, Financing and the investment memo read, so the memo prints the bridge and a financing scenario linked to QoE starts from the same figure.

Every adjustment carries a category, a recurrence, a confidence level and its evidence, and the memo lists them as approved, run-rate and excluded, so a reader can reconcile it to the seller's add-back schedule line by line. How each add-back is tested is in the guide to QoE add-backs.

Questions

Is the workbench's output a CPA-signed report?

No. It is your own Quality of Earnings, documented adjustment by adjustment. A CPA-signed report is a separate engagement, and its findings come in as evidence.

Can I bring a report I have already bought?

Yes. Enter the periods and the adjustments it found, attach the workpapers as evidence, and lock. You get the bridge in the memo and the same figure in the financing model.

Does the AI decide the add-backs?

No. It extracts the reported figures and can suggest where to look. Every adjustment is created, evidenced and approved by a person.

Will an SBA 7(a) lender accept my own QoE?

Not in place of its own on an Initial Acquisition or a Business Expansion at a Business Purchase Price of $3 million or more: the lender must obtain a QoE performed for the lender, not prepared by or for the seller. A lender may have a buyer-commissioned report reviewed by one of its approved vendors. Below that price the SBA mandates no report.

Which plans include the workbench?

Included on every plan, with every deal within the plan's limit.
